Unemployment & Office Availabilities at Pre-Recession Levels in Boston

The Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development announced Thursday that the unemployment rate in Massachusetts fell to 3.9% in August, its lowest point since August of 2001. Coinciding with declining unemployment, the average annual availability rate in the Boston office market has steadily declined since 2011, reaching the pre-recession level of 9.3% in Q2.
